Fusing vitreous enamel onto copper or steel lends color and visual texture to metalwork. Sifting enamel through, layering colors & shapes together gives depth to an otherwise flat surface. I enjoy different techniques of enameling. Torch firing allows me to work on a bigger scale.  While fusing in a kiln provides even heat with more stability & control of the enamel. I find myself layering shapes & patterns fusing them until they practically vibrate together.
